Original watercolor painting by Olga Peregood
Single frame from vlogtober on YouTube
It's autumn come in our small town of Ontario, Canada. Each morning  during my walk I turn my face and absorb sunlight as a sunflowers do. Back to my studio I paint this feeling of warmth, trying to fill my painting with this emotion, to capture it with watercolors before this sunshine and a breeze warm as fresh milk gone.

Simple still life paintings :: raspberries

Original raspberries watercolor exercise by Olga Peregood
Process of searching right colors
Colors we choose for simple still life paintings are very important. Before paint raspberries think which colors to choose to make a viewer wants to eat it?! Spent as much scraps of paper as needed and try as many color combinations as you have until you have this feeling "Yes, I want to eat this raspberries"!

There are my chosen colors for my raspberries demonstration from my Periscope session (replay on my YouTube channel). But always rely on your own taste and choose from your exercises!

Flower Techniques For Roses

Cover for YouTube vlog. Roses paintings comes out in a creative space of my new home
Since I started to paint in watercolor my life continually changes.  Watercolor become my philosophy, it`s a state of mind, which comes from things I have always dream to aim for in my life - freedom, positive thinking, letting go life as it is, uniqueness, wellness and this process are still long!

One month pass since we moved and live in a new home. I don't know where is time gone, but it was the best time in my life! I absorb empty spaces and empty rooms imagining what will be placed and searching new colors and shapes to create as warm and cozy atmosphere as possible, to create a best space where to live, laugh and work. I absolutely fall in love with everything: the town, the community, neighbors, the house, the garden. List of 50 offers and 1500 km my husband being driven to find this land are worth it!

My easel is not flat. I work at an angle. I like when colors are flow across the paper in a direction. My paintings isn`t fixed. I like to create directional flows of colors, so I turn my paper 360 often. In this demonstration I used Artist's Loft™ Mini Pro Folding Easel from Michael `s store - http://lazywonderbrush.blogspot.ca/2015/03/stuff-table-easel.html

Watercolor brushes for watercolor white flowers

Russian watercolor brushes "Nevskaya Palitra" Kolinsky round sable size 6 and size 3
For watercolor white flowers I used my favorite Russian watercolor brushes "Nevskaya Palitra" Kolinsky round sable size 6 and size 3. For exciting washes I use Russian Watercolor Nevskaya Palitra squirrel round brush size 12.

I use it to bring a large amount of pigment or water on a paper. I also like how hair and shape leave wonderful brush marks on a paper. Right now I am working on my class "White Foxgloves Watercolor: Shaping Whites With Spice Of Life". Look how I add final leaves on my foxgloves watercolor painting during last chapter.
